A song named 'Time for Africa' by popular South African band Freshlyground and Colombian pop star Shakira has been chosen as the official World Cup 2010 anthem, according to reports at the weekend.
The song is expected to be sent out to radio stations this week and will be, according to reports, available for download next week.
According to the report, Cape Town-based Freshlyground and Shakira will perform the song at the World Cup 2010 kick-off concert in Soweto, near Johannesburg on June 10th, and at the tournament's opening ceremony and right before the July 11th final.
We have been unable to find a video or a link to the song anywhere and what we have found we are guessing is YouTube spam, but we will keep our ears to the ground and as soon as we find a copy somewhere, we will send you to it.
