Two more teams qualified for 2010 World Cup: Brazil and Ghana

Brazil and Ghana have now qualified for the 2010 World Cup kicking off in 277 days days, making the total number of teams to have confirmed their place to eight.

Brazil qualified from their group as they have now confirmed that they will finish in the top four of their group and Ghana have qualified from their group as winners.

The other teams confirmed to attend the 2010 World Cup are South Africa, as host, Japan, Australia, Korea Republic, Netherlands and Korea DPR.

England are expected to qualify this week after so far winning all seven of their matches in the qualifying round.
