Switzerland, Slovakia, Honduras and Argentina all qualified for the 2010 World Cup last night which brings the total number of teams that have booked their place in South Africa to twenty-two.
When the football ended last night it also confirmed the teams from the European Qualifying Group that have made the play-off match stage that take place on November 14th and 18th.
The European teams qualified for that are; Portugal, Greece, Slovenia, Russia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ukraine, France and the Republic of Ireland.
Some of the bigger European teams that haven't made the World Cup finals for next year and will possibly be looking for new management fairly soon include Scotland (who if we are honest are never likely to make another World Cup), Norway, Croatia, Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic and Sweden.
The full list of qualified teams as of October 15th 2009 is below.
