Pots for World Cup 2010 draw created

About an hour ago, FIFA confirmed the seedings for the 2010 World Cup draw that will take place on Friday in Cape Town.

We predicted yesterday where we thought the teams were going to be placed and we were wrong, but we were really close. We thought France would be seeded, but they are not, but England are, which means there is no chance for England to meet other seeded teams.

The pots are as follows:

Pot 1 (seeds): South Africa, Brazil, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Argentina, England

Pot 2 (Asia, Oceania and North/Central America): Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Mexico, Honduras

Pot 3 (Africa and South America): Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Nigeria, Algeria, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay

Pot 4 (Europe): France, Portugal, Slovenia, Switzerland, Greece, Serbia, Denmark, Slovakia

These four pots will create eight groups and we will update the site on Friday with each of the groups as they get drawn.
