I'm just wildly predicting now, for the fun of it, but I fancy the team that wins this match will be the winner of the 2010 World Cup and will be the first team to beat the Dutch in a very long time.

Did you know that the Dutch have won every game they have played this year and not lost in something like 24 matches? It will be tough to lose only one and that be the biggest of them all.

But we only write that because we fancy it will be either Germany or Spain that win the World Cup this year - but we could be wrong.

Germany

The team that brushed aside England and Argentina without even breaking into a sweat. The team that most think will now win the World Cup, according to our poll. The team that could win the World Cup in our opinion, if they have a good day at the races.

Spain

The team with so much quality that they could probably field a second team at the World Cup and they would do just as well. We feel sorry for the likes of Pepe Reina and Cesc Fabregas - they would get into most teams starting eleven but they can't get into the starting team for their country because they have even better players.

Opposition View

People are saying we have to win the World Cup. The people want the World Cup. We know that the Germany match is the most important in our history, even more than the Euro 2008 final in Austria. We did not come here to finish fourth. The European Championships is in the past and was a complete success, it was fantastic. Everyone was flying the (Spanish) flag from the rooftops but now, from what we are seeing, this is the most important match for Spain for a very long time.

I think we’ve changed a lot since 2008. We play completely different football, but Spain have stayed practically the same. They’ve maybe not played the fantastic stuff people were expecting from them here, but they’re winning their matches.

Prediction

This is a tough one to call - maybe the toughest of the World Cup, but we have to go with Germany. It isn't that we don't think Spain are capable, they are more than capable of beating anyone on their day, it is that we expect Germany to have everything organised and everything to happen exactly as they plan.

So, that also means we think Germany will win this World Cup - but that now, is very much the kiss of death.
