The war of words between Pele and Diego Maradona continued yesterday when Pele claimed that the Argentina coach was not a good coach, because of his troubled private life.
"He (Maradona) is not a good coach, because he had a bizarre lifestyle which cannot go down well with his team," three-time World Cup winner Pele told German magazine 11Freunde.
Just a few days ago Maradona responded to comments made by Pele that he only took the Argentina job because he needed the money by suggesting Pele go back to the museum.
At the same time, he took a swipe at Platini and the French, but he apologised for that a few days later.
We don't necessarily think that Maradona is the best coach at the World Cup either but we also don't think the World Cup is about coaching.
We think it is more about making your players believe and with Dunga - we think Maradona is one of the best and to think that his players are not living the same or very similar lifestyle to the one Maradona lived is naive of Pele.
