Argentina winning was our bet of the day, so we are not surprised. We do feel a little sorry for Mexico however, as they started well and the first goal for Argentina was as offside as the ball was over the line in the Germany win over England when the referee didn't see that one too.

By that point Argentina really could feel lucky they were not two down as Mexico had hit the crossbar and come extremely close with a shot that had the keeper beat but just went past the wrong side of the post.

But the goal was given and while the result might have been different had the goal not been given, I'm sure the game would have been very different had Mexico scored one of the chances they had created for themselves or we had a different referee.

The point is, you can not look to one moment - you have to look at the entire game and for that game - Argentina deserved to win.
