Italy in the World Cup final after beating Germany in Germany

On possession alone Italy should have won, let alone the two goals deep in extra time.

Germany sat back for most of the match and looked a little lost in the first of the semi-finals.

Goals from Alessandro Del Piero and Fabio Grosso in the last two minutes of the match won it for Italy; it looked like Germany were playing for penalties.

Italy had 58% possession but just lacked the killer touch and only created a handful of chances.

We'll find out who they meet in the World Cup final tomorrow night as France take on Portugal.
