Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque is talking up the chances of Portugal ahead of their last sixteen clash in the World Cup. He is just talking, Portugal are not good enough, but with all the questions thrown at each team these days, you have to accept you are going to get some blarney.

"We've seen how they controlled the game against Brazil, hitting them on the counter-attack," Del Bosque said.

"Portugal are going to be a very tough side. I take no satisfaction from the fact we're up against Portugal instead of Brazil. They are both great national teams."

Spain, when they beat Portugal, will play either Japan or Paraguay in the quarter finals and then Argentina in the semi-finals finals, although some will say Germany have a chance too, but they don't really and then they will go out.

Portugal will give Spain a decent enough fight but they will be going home after this match - as long as Spain do not have a horrible day and we can not see that happening.
