If you didn't see that match, I think it is fair to say that you just missed the game of the World Cup, to date. It had it all and seven goals. What more could you ask for?

We have to be honest too - it wasn't because Portugal were fantastic - they were good, for sure, but North Korea were not great. Often a second off the pace and going forward they lacked any imagination.

Still, seven goals in match - six in the second half, makes for an interesting game and some of the football was very good.

The first goal, the only goal of the first half came in the 29th minutes when Tiago played a perfectly weighted pass into the path of Raul Meireles who only had to fire home. He did and 1-0.

The second half was different and Portugal came out and played differently - as if they had figured out they had the pace and North Korea were leaving the space - they took advantage.

The second goal came from a long ball to Raul Meireles on the edge of the North Korea box. He plays a one-two with Hugo Almeida and then plays in for Simao, who make no mistake in firing home from 12 yards out. That was in the 53rd minute, three minutes later the ball is at the feet of Fabio Coentrao, who sends over a fantastic cross for Hugo Almeida to head in.

Four minutes later we have the next. Once again, down the left but Ronaldo this time who crosses along the ground for Tiago to fire home from the edge of the box. That made it 4-0 and I thought it was all over.

But then comes the magical 81st minute and a goal from Liedson from fairly close range. Six minutes later Ronaldo gets on the score sheet from more sloppy defending and then a minute later Tiago gets another - again from the left.

It was a very good game - not as fantastic as some will have you make out, but very good. The truth is, even Birmingham City would have won that game today, North Korea are a poor side.
