Cameroon coach Paul Le Guen has angrily denied suggestions of pessimism over Cameroon's World Cup 2010 chances at a weekend press conference in Douala.
Le Guen has also confirmed that he is three or four names away from announcing his squad for South Africa where they will play in Group E, along with the Netherlands, Denmark and Japan.
Cameroon will also play three friendly matches before the World Cup starts; Slovakia on May 29th, Portugal on June 1st and Serbia on June 5th. All these in preparation for their first match on June 14th in Bloemfontein against Japan.
As an aside, we quite fancy Cameroon to make it through the group stages.

This is not true and you have to stop making these allegations. I'm not pessimistic about our chances and never have been. Never. I am full of spirit, confident and I think I'm going to be working with a strong team. Stop looking for cracks that are not there.
