Serbia announce 30 man squad for World Cup

Serbia are the latest team to submit their 30 man preliminary squad for the World Cup starting next month in South Africa and they will fancy their chances.

Nemanja Vidic of Manchester United and Branislav Ivanovic of Chelsea are included and they will be full of confidence after successful season at club level. Serbia play in Group D against Germany, Australia and Ghana.

The full 30 man provisional squad for Serbia is listed below.

Goalkeepers: Vladimir Stojkovic (Wigan/England), Zeljko Brkic (Vojvodina Novi Sad), Bojan Isailovic (Cukaricki Belgrade), Andjelko Djuricic (Leiria/Portugal).

Defenders: Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea/England), Antonio Rukavina (1860 Munich/Germany), Nemanja Vidic (Manchester United/England), Neven Subotic (Borussia Dortmund/Germany), Aleksandar Lukovic (Udinese/Italy), Ivan Obradovic (Real Zaragoza/Spain), Aleksandar Kolarov (Lazio/Italy).
