German captain Philipp Lahm has warned England that a penalty shoot-out will suit Germany on Sunday and that it will suit them as they will be better prepared.

"Maybe it will go to penalties - that could suit us," he told FIFA.com.

"I think we are mentally good, we will be prepared for it. We practise penalties sometimes, not every player, but sometimes.

"I hope the English won't be so confident. There is a big history [between the teams], they are always big games, interesting games. We will see, we are ready to fight. Then we will see who is in the next round."

You would expect confidence ahead of the game on Sunday from all the German players but they lack experience and their age could be what costs them. One thing we will predict though; this game wont go to penalties on Sunday.
