Marcello Lippi yesterday hailed Fabio Capello as 'a winner' and has said that England were still one of the teams that can go on and win the World Cup.
"England are one of the great threats. It is not because Capello is Italian that is important. It is because he is a winner." Lippi told press in Cape Town. "He's a coach who has always built very pragmatic teams that are very determined."
But he wasn't just talking about England, he thinks there are a few teams that can go on and win it.
"Everyone has made Brazil or Spain favourites and I would not disagree," Lippi added.
"Personally I feel Argentina, Holland, Germany, Italy, France and England - can all win - they come to the World Cup not just to participate but to win."
Lippi is in a positive mood and is hoping to to take Italy all the way and become only the second manager ever to win the World Cup twice.
