This is going to be a good match and I'm going to be happily surprised that I cancelled my usual big Sunday lunch for it, because it is the unknown entities that usually do surprise on the big stage.

Look at yesterday and a great example is the England versus USA match. Were any of us really that surprised it was a draw? I wasn't and even wrote as much before the match here.

These two teams have also never played each other and it's not going to have been easy for any team to pick up much information on these two, so they will have the element of surprise on their side which can be a powerful asset.

Either way - I'm convinced this will be a good game in one way or another and I'm looking forward to it, even if I am only have pizza for my Sunday lunch.

Prediction

This is the hardest game to predict, because I know so little about both sides, but we are going to have fun with it.

The fun part is predicting a win. I'm going to say someone will win 2-0, but I've no idea who. A win for either side makes it interesting for England and the United States - it makes the next game for each team that little more interesting, as they are going to need to win.

Our goal is clear, we need to have honour with our behaviour on and off the pitch, we need to represent Algerian football, Maghreb football, African football and also Arab football. We have nothing to lose, we can only win. We will give everything during every game and at the end of the group stage we will see what our level is and what we have learnt.

We are all concentrating on the work in hand, and to be as prepared as possible for the following matches, so we play even better than we did against Russia. Because I think that we are able to play even better, and, as I said before, that there is more to come from us.

I'm starting to get a little annoyed by the vuvuzela noise as it is taking away a little bit of the passion from the game. I was looking forward to hearing the England fans sing last night and the USA fans sing 'USA USA USA' but all I got was the vuvuzela.

However, I'm not sure either of these countries will have much travelling support, so I'm sort of hoping it brings an atmosphere to the game. If this game is a sell out I'll run round my house naked.

But, to the match; if there is a winner they will go top of the group and be a step closer to qualifying. If they draw, I think they are both going out - so a real incentive to go all out for this match which is what it is all about.
