I will hold my hands up; I knew Argentina would win the group right from the beginning, but I didn't think they would look so good doing it. Argentina are now my favourites to win this World Cup - they just have so much quality and they look so very very good.

But, they were always going to win tonight and they did. They also win the group, which means that they will be playing Mexico in the last sixteen knock-out match and that will be interesting, because Mexico try to play like Argentina and Argentina are proving to be the masters.

It did take a while however for the first goal and Greece could have had one or two before Argentina really moved up another gear, but you just feel that the reason Argentina didn't move up a gear earlier was because there was no reason.

But with close to twenty minutes left on the clock they moved up into the next gear and forced a corner. Martin Demichelis got his head to ball but the header was blocked but he was the first to reach and he got a shot off and fired it into the roof of the net.

A little over ten minutes later Messi went on one of his little runs and found himself in front of goal with an opportunity to shoot, so he took it. The keeper saved it but could only palm it to the feet of Martin Palermo, who shoots and scores, after only coming on a few minutes earlier.

A predicted win by us and many others - congratulations Argentina.
