Now, we do not mean to mock Mr Gallas but he confirmed today what many people have known for a very long time. He is the typical spoilt brat but anyone that has followed the Premier League for the past few seasons will already know this.
Why do I say this? Well, he is refusing to talk to the media for the duration of the World Cup. We don't know why, but we do know it is typical Gallas.
He was due to attend a press conference today with Hugo Lloris at France's base in Knysna and he didn't turn up. Instead a team spokesman said "William has decided not to speak to the media for the duration of the World Cup finals," on his behalf.
Nobody was able to find Galls to ask why he wasn't going to speak to the press, but in the distance, somebody who looked a lot like William Gallas was seen stamping their feet while ordering an ice cream at an ice cream van but we are unable to confirm if it was the French defender.
France are in Group A alongside hosts South Africa, looking good of late Mexico and doomed to not finish in the top two of the group even though I'd like it if they did, Uruguay.
