There are loads of different World Cup betting markets available from the bookies. One of the favourites at the moment is to bet on what teams will make it to the finals.
The strongest selection at the moment with the shortest odds is a Brazil V Spain final. But what about England? Stop sweating, the second favourite according to the bookies is a Spain V England final.
England are entering the World Cup as third favourites, that means they’re predicted to reach the World Cup Semi Final, if all favourites win their groups, England are on target to meet Brazil in the semi final. Everyone is predicting that Spain, Brazil and England will all reach the semi final, what team will fill the fourth space?
Germany will avoid the three favourites until the semil final, if they win their group. Most people have dismissed Germany this year but looking at their stats, they prove to be a formidable team. Their World Cup record is nothing short of amazing, their worst performance in twenty years is going out in the quarter final. Despite this amazing record, they are currently at a big price to win the World Cup.
One of the reasons they’re seen as outsiders at this years tournament is their lack of star players and this is where England are hoping Rooney will make a difference. He is one of the favourites to win the Golden Boot, behind International stars Lionel Messi and current favourite David Villa.
