FIFA World Cup 2010 Organising Committee Finalised PDF Print E-mail

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 2010 FIFA World Cup has been finalised.

The 16-member committee to be chaired by Irvin Khoza comprises of government officials, the corporate world, the Confederation of African Football and prominent local soccer administrators.

Former chief executive of the bid committee Danny Jordaan, Kaizer Chiefs boss Kaizer Motaung, Safa President Molefi Oliphant, Sports Minister Reverend Makhenkesi Stofile, Minister of Safety and Security Charles Ngqakula, Minister of Transport Jeff Radebe and Deputy Minister of Finance Jabu Moleketi and businessman Toyo Sexwale are part of the committee.

All administrative positions including that of Chief Executive Officer will be advertised for soon.
