Recently re-elected South African Football Association CEO Danny Jordaan says his main objective is to turn the organisation into an ideal partner for FIFA, and an organisation that will ensure a world-class 2010 World Cup.

"I want to have a meeting with the staff and read their mood. I will then engage the finance department so that one can establish the exact financial position of the organisation," he said. Once that is done, I will draw up a recovery plan which I will then table before Safa's National Executive Committee (NEC)," he added, without mentioning any timeframes for the process. Jordaan was reinstated to his former job when the Football Association NEC met recently in Johannesburg.
