World Cup 2010 poster
The poster and Sepp Blatter

Sepp Blatter unveiled the official poster to be used for the 2010 World Cup in Durban last week and it really is quite a good job by the Local Organising Committee.

They had three to pick from but this really was the best - possibly because of the simplicity and what the poster represents - Africa and football, but that's purely personal opinion.

We're not sure if we're allowed to show the actual poster so we're going to send you to other sites that are showing it and probably the best one to go visit is www.fifa.com.

This is how the posters work; there are two although FIFA will tell you only one. You'll actually see the FIFA poster inside the country poster.

Now, the one inside the new South African poster isn't really a poster, it's what FIFA use as an emblem of sorts quite a while before the official country poster is released. We're calling it a poster because it will be used electronically, in the same way a poster is used - you just won't be printing it off and posting it on your wall.

We'll shortly be putting up posters from all the previous World Cups and you can get to vote on which one is the best - come back soon.
