World Cup 2010 from South Africa

FIFA top dog Sepp Blatter arrived in Johannesburg on Monday to check on the progress of preparations for the 2010 World Cup. He's going to leave a very happy man.

Blatter is expected to inspect some of the ten stadiums which are to host World Cup matches. He is also expected to travel to Cape Town later today to inspect the construction work currently under way on the new seventy thousand seater Green Point Stadium.

Blatter has as good as dismissed any chance of the World Cup moving “There is always going to be jealousy because the World Cup is coming here. If you (South Africa) were not good, you would not be getting so much criticism. You may rest assured that nothing will take this World Cup from Africa. Nothing but God.”

Only God can take away the World Cup from South Africa! Well, if that has not confirmed it for everyone who thinks it might be moving I don't know what will.
