Yesterday Zinedine Zindane was confirmed as the World Cup's best player, despite the sending off for headbutting Marco Materazzi.

Zidane showed his critics, of which I was one before the tournament that he's still got it and should still be considered a threat; it's only a pity he couldn't play like that for real Madrid week in week out.
