South Korea came from behind to beat 10 man Togo this afternoon in what was not the best match to watch but still quite exciting.
Togo went one up in the 31st minute when Mohammed Kader latched on to a through ball and he slapped the ball past the South Korean keeper. It was the highlight of the half.
Togo had captain Jean-Paul Abalo sent off in the 30th minute and Lee Chun-Soo scored from the resulting free kick; it had Beckham written all over it and after that South Korea dominated despite Togo having a few chances.
Ahn Jung-Hwan scored in the 71st minute with a deflected shot which gave South Korea all three points. Only an hour to go until the next game and later tonight we've got Brazil. This is what it's all about. |
