We're not about reporting on individual matches but we've just watched Australia in one of the best flowing games of the World Cup so far and just had to say something.

This is what makes the World Cup the greatest sporting event in the world. Australia played how the game was supposed to be played and with six minutes left looked doomed to defeat.

Somebody obviously didn't tell the players because with six minutes to go they scored three and have firmly left an Australian sized smack in the face of the Japanese who really should have settled for a draw.

We're watching every single game so if we see anything as good again we'll tell you just in case you didn't see it because this is a game you should watch.

Australia face Brazil and Croatia in the next two games. I honestly didn't they they had a chance of getting to the next round but if they play like they did today and my name is Ronaldo I might just be taking note of 'Socceroos' this evening.
