Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira has announced to be leaving the national team after the 2006 World Cup in Germany, and ruled out the option of choosing another position at the Brazilian association.
Parreira, 62, is one of Brazil's most successful coaches ever. He led the 'Sele?ao' to their fourth World Cup in 1994, and also won the Copa America last year, beating Argentina in the final.
The coach would like to continue working in football: I am attached to football and I don't think I could do anything else. I still have this idea to start a school for talented players."
Later on Wednesday, Parreira and his Brazil will be meeting again with Argentina, for the final of the Confederatons Cup in Frankfurt, Germany. Source: SoccerWay |
